Depression….like online like on with an app it enables you to do therapy with it that makes great sense it is a online service that AHS you get therapy instead of needing to go in and speak with somebody face to face you can do it online with the benefit of your phone or your laptop computer but I personally use the app and I wanted to offer you a little bit of my opinion about it because I hear without any subscribers you understand I’m not sponsored by anybody and I want to offer you my honest opinion of it um and I believe that it’s really good to have more on sponsored viewpoints or like people who aren’t I have no factor to inform you anything about it if it’s not real so that’s what I’m gon na be doing today and I hope you enjoy this so let’s begin so I’m gon na keep holding up my phone as a prop so talk area generally is an app that you can download in the App Store and after that you have to do a membership service to it so you need to have it for a month I think or longer than that and what it enables you to do is it allows you to speak with a therapist without having to discover the therapist like in your area without needing to see and go what someone in person you can do it in your home and it enables you to text the therapist and then you can have live sessions those live sessions include you talking essentially like you would in a normal therapy session and the

texting is it’s just that you can text them kind of whenever you have ideas whenever you have concepts whenever you’re thinking of things you wish to you can speak about it with your therapist type of immediately and then I think a great part about that is if you have an idea sort of mid week or whenever you know you aren’t going to be talking to your therapist that day or even if you are if you just wish to remember what you’re believing you can text it to them and you can tell them what’s on your mind and I believe it can be truly valuable for people with stress and anxiety or with depression with journalism of ideas it sort of provides you a quick outlet for those things and perhaps they do not develop in in your mind as much as they might if you have to wait you understand a week to inform your therapist about something so I believe that’s really cool I really like it for that I would say that’s a huge pro um I would say a con related to that very same thing is that things simply take a lot longer to talk about if you select to text them about it so if I want to say I’m feeling by doing this you understand I think it’s because of this or this they may state oh well do you consider this this this whatever however that’s gon na be a little bit longer um one thing to note is that the therapists check there the message location where you put the message like your their inbox I guess I do not know what they call it they check that 2 times a day or at least my therapist told me that she examines hardest two times a day so in that regard you’re gon na.

get about two actions a day about like clearly if you’re most likely having like a crisis and they have a moment they can most likely assist you but it’s not like they’re just waiting around for you to message due to the fact that essentially they do a great deal of these people seem to have perhaps not practices however they have an office that they work out of anyhow so um it’s not very rapid in that regard like talking about things it’s instantaneous that you can tell them your issues which you can get that off your chest however you might have to wait a little bit longer to discuss things and if you’re talking about things in therapy it’s gon na be you’re gon na say something and then they’re gon na state oh it’s this how you address this they’re gon na sort of talk about it like a normal discussion however with talk area you might say this and then it might be five hours later on and after that they may say oh well this and then it’s type of it takes a lot longer to talk similar to if you’re making plans with your buddies you know what I suggest like you can call someone and you can say hi let’s do this isn’t this and let’s meet up here and you’re gon na be you know made with your discussion at 5 minutes whereas it may take like a half an hour to text that back and forth so that’s simply something excellent to consider you understand something that did trouble me a bit initially yeah the one good thing to it appears to be a good bit less expensive than going in to speak to someone it’s about $200 a month around there I could put the real cost like here someone it’s about that price a month to have the live sessions and the texting which consists of for that plan it is for half an hour live sessions per month so every week you’ll get a half an hour live session so I imply it is less time that you’re most likely talking truly since like I said it’s only half an hour and if you go to treatment you’re probably going there for about an hour I would say so it’s less time for talking and but you get more support I would say so that’s sort of good the app itself the interface is extremely easy to use I like it I do not have actually any grievances about it besides maybe like you can’t see if they read it but like I guess that does not matter since like they’re gon na respond when they see it anyway so I don’t know that was just something I thought of but that’s.

not very crucial but overall I simulate the user interface and personally my experience with my counselor has been great so far um I suggest it is I would state another con in my viewpoint would be that it might be hard opening to these people even if you’re not there in person and you’re not in person quite as much as you would be with regular typical treatment so I believe that it could be harder for individuals to open up to their therapists if you have difficulty opening to your therapist in the first place so that’s simply something to consider I did plan to have a little bit of problem opening up so it’s been something that I’ve been thinking about however I’m not sure just how much that really is just me having an issue opening up to individuals or the actual app so I’m sorry that the lighting got odd and I literally can’t make a video without everything going wrong at once however back here so I simply wished to offer some like final thoughts I think I do not want this to be too long of a video I kind of wanted to give a brief summary and then like if you want me to go more in depth about it I sort of can like in an follow-up video or something like that basically I think it’s an excellent service I think it does what it states it’s supposed to do I believe it’s a bit tough if you have some concerns that are look I believe it’s truly great for like tension kind of stuff and I haven’t been having a lot of like that kind of thing like I have like been simply having a lot of like think you’re not little however like smaller sized things than like my general stress and anxiety and like what triggers me and whatever and like depressive thoughts so um yeah I mean I guess I ought to’ve stated that earlier but I do have actually stress and anxiety like generalized stress and anxiety and then I do not I’m not like identified or anything with anxiety um but I do absolutely like depressive thoughts and like I actually like to state that I have anxiety but like that and I do likewise have seasonal depression which I have not used that for that long so I don’t know it’s summer season here so essentially I think it’s truly excellent if you you understand can’t make it to visits if you have a really busy job or something like that I believe likewise another really fantastic truly great prospect to use talk area would be somebody who’s taking a trip a lot so or maybe you’re taking a trip overseas or if you just if you take a trip in general and you don’t have like access to one therapists all the time I believe that would be an excellent thing well I continue to utilize it yes I will just because I have not.
