texting is it’s just that you can text them sort of whenever you have thoughts whenever you have ideas whenever you’re considering things you want to you can discuss it with your therapist kind of instantly and then I believe a great part about that is if you have a thought sort of mid week or whenever you know you aren’t going to be speaking with your therapist that day or perhaps if you are if you just wish to remember what you’re thinking you can text it to them and you can tell them what’s on your mind and I think it can be really handy for people with stress and anxiety or with anxiety with the press of thoughts it type of provides you a quick outlet for those things and maybe they do not develop in in your mind as much as they might if you need to wait you know a week to inform your therapist about something so I believe that’s truly cool I actually like it for that I would say that’s a huge pro um I would state a con related to that exact same thing is that things just take a lot longer to speak about if you pick to text them about it so if I want to state I’m feeling by doing this you understand I think it’s because of this or this they may state oh well do you consider this this this whatever but that’s gon na be a bit longer um something to note is that the therapists examine there the message location where you put the message like your their inbox I guess I don’t understand what they call it they examine that 2 times a day or at least my therapist informed me that she examines hardest two times a day so because regard you’re gon na.

get about 2 actions a day about like certainly if you’re most likely having like a crisis and they have a moment they can most likely help you but it’s not like they’re just lingering for you to message due to the fact that essentially they do a lot of these individuals appear to have possibly not practices but they have an office that they work out of anyway so um it’s not really rapid because regard like going over things it’s instant that you can tell them your issues and that you can get that off your chest however you might have to wait a little bit longer to talk about things and if you’re speaking about things in treatment it’s gon na be you’re gon na say something and then they’re gon na say oh it’s this how you resolve this they’re gon na kind of speak about it like a typical discussion but with talk area you may say this and then it might be 5 hours later and after that they may say oh well this and after that it’s sort of it takes a lot longer to talk much like if you’re making strategies with your good friends you know what I imply like you can call somebody and you can say hi let’s do this isn’t this and let’s meet up here and you’re gon na be you understand finished with your discussion at 5 minutes whereas it may take like a half an hour to text that backward and forward so that’s just something great to think of you understand something that did bother me a little bit in the beginning yeah the one advantage to it appears to be a great bit less expensive than entering to talk with someone it has to do with $200 a month around there I could put the actual rate like here someone it’s about that price a month to have the live sessions and the texting and that consists of for that bundle it is for half an hour live sessions per month so every week you’ll get a half an hour live session so I mean it is less time that you’re probably talking truly due to the fact that like I stated it’s just half an hour and if you go to treatment you’re probably going there for about an hour I would say so it’s less time for talking and but you get more support I would say so that’s type of good the app itself the user interface is extremely easy to use I like it I don’t have really any grievances about it besides possibly like you can’t see if they read it but like I guess that does not matter since like they’re gon na react when they see it anyway so I don’t know that was just something I considered however that’s.

not extremely essential but total I do like the interface and personally my experience with my counselor has been excellent so far um I imply it is I would state another con in my viewpoint would be that it might be difficult opening up to these individuals even if you’re not there in person and you’re not personally rather as much as you would be with normal typical therapy so I believe that it could be harder for individuals to open up to their therapists if you have problem opening to your therapist in the first place so that’s just something to consider I did mean to have a little bit of difficulty opening up so it’s been something that I have actually been thinking of however I’m unsure how much that actually is just me having an issue opening to people or the real app so I’m sorry that the lighting got odd and I literally can’t make a video without whatever failing simultaneously but back here so I simply wished to provide some like last thoughts I guess I do not desire this to be too long of a video I sort of wanted to offer a short summary and after that like if you want me to go more in depth about it I kind of can like in an follow-up video or something like that basically I think it’s a good service I believe it does what it says it’s expected to do I believe it’s a little bit hard if you have some concerns that are look I believe it’s truly great for like stress type of things and I have not been having a lot of like that example like I have like been just having a great deal of like believe you’re not small but like smaller things than like my basic anxiety and like what activates me and whatever and like depressive ideas so um yeah I suggest I guess I should’ve said that earlier however I do have stress and anxiety like generalized stress and anxiety and after that I do not I’m not like identified or anything with anxiety um but I do certainly like depressive ideas and like I truly like to state that I have depression but like that and I do also have seasonal depression which I have not used that for that long so I don’t understand it’s summer here so basically I believe it’s actually excellent if you you know can’t make it to visits if you have a really hectic task or something like that I think also another really great really excellent candidate to utilize talk area would be somebody who’s traveling a lot so or perhaps you’re traveling overseas or if you simply if you take a trip in general and you do not have like access to one therapists all the time I believe that would be a fantastic thing well I continue to use it yes I will even if I have not. problems due to the fact that they’re like things of your mind and they’re things that are like worrying you or things that are making depressed or nervous however I tend to find that it’s a bit much better for just more I’m truly nervous about beginning a new task I am truly distressed about you understand finishing going to school you know stuff like that that’s not truly like existential things um however like I stated if you are experiencing more just you’re going through some things then I think it would be terrific um it also depends on like how comfy you resemble speaking with a phone like I understand that that sounds odd however like do you video chat with your buddies do you you know what I suggest due to the fact that if you don’t then I feel like it’s gon na be actually unusual like you holding up a phone or like speaking to your laptop due to the fact that it’s gon na resemble this odd like artificial thing but like if you’re used to that then it’s type of like alright whatever like this is regular that’s something I discovered I do talk on facetiming a bit so I feel like I’m type of utilized to it however I felt like when I was doing it this would be weird if I didn’t um so yeah like I stated I would definitely advise it to any person who travels like full-time because that would be amazing like then you might in fact have therapy if that’s not something that is a choice to you.
