The American Indian Health Commission for Washington State (AIHC) was created in 1994 by federally recognized tribes, urban Indian health programs, and Indian organizations to provide a forum for Tribal-State health issues. It works to achieve unity and guide the collective needs of Tribal governments in providing high-quality, comprehensive health care to American Indians and Alaska Natives.
